Description of manuscript content:
The text describes the merit-making occasion dedicated to the Rice Goddess which is one of Lao traditional ceremonies. The ceremony is organized in order to pay respect to Mae Phosop (Rice Goddess) as the spirit of rice. The ceremony starts when the rice at the field gets pregnant, ripe and ends after harvesting. This ceremony is to thank Mae Phosop for giving rice and plants.
