Description of manuscript content:
The text was written in the Nissaya style in which Pali texts were written and verbatim translated into Lao. It describes the Ātānātiya Sutta (discourse on Anatatiya): the four heavenly kings came into the presence of the Buddha while he was residing on the vulture’s peak. They informed the Buddha about Anatatiya Sutta for protecting the four Buddhist communities against Yakkhas (demons).
