Description of manuscript content:
The text contains the words of middle chants of the Dhammacakkappavattana Sutta and was verbatim written in Pali and Lao. The text also describes the noble eight-fold path.
Colophon:
Folio 32 on the recto side: The writing of this manuscript was finished in Culasakkarat (CS) 1227, a hap pao year, on the seventh day of the waning moon of the eighth [lunar] month, the sixth day of the week (Friday), a hap hao day, at the time of the sunset drum (13:30–15:00). Chao Khanan (Mr. ex-monk) Chanthapanya was the scribe. Sathu Mae Chao Saiyakumman was the sponsor of the making of this manuscript.
