Description of manuscript content:
The text explains Sīla-samādāna (observance of the precepts) for novices. Novices have to follow ten precepts. The word “samādāna” (observance) means immersing oneself in practice to abstain from misconducts which are the origin of sorrow. Sīla means morality and is the basis of concentration and wisdom.
