Description of manuscript content:
The text of Patimokkha was written in Pali and contains a list of the 227 rules abided by monks. A recitation of the Patimokkha by a monk takes place in an assembly of the Sangha in the monastic hall on every full moon day and new moon day which is called uposatha day.
